This is a transferware plate made by Meakin Co. that was really popular back in the 70's and earlier. This is a little bread plate featuring the USS Constitution engaging Chinese Junks It shows on the edge Canton Port and New Your Harbor 1830 with our E Pluribus Unum at the top. It is a sepia or cinnamon brown and on the back it is marked Fair Winds and that it is dishawasher and detergent safe. It comes with a plate hanger so you can hang or add to your set of usable dishes. It is 7" in diameter.
