1940s Sleepy Eyed Baby Doll

Sorry, this item has sold.

This little baby is from the 40s or early 50s and has no name on it to identify. She looks like an Eegee but my understanding is that they were all marked as were the Ideal Betsy Wetsys. She has sleepy eyes and a hole in it's mouth and bottom so she can be fed and changed. Her green eyes work great. She has molded hair and a lovely little red and black dress with matching bloomers and a darling red corduroy 3/4 sleeve jacket.

She is in grat shape, very well made. Her body is hard plastic and her head is a softer, rubber like plastic.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

How much is a custom mermaid?

It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!

Thank you this is a doll my mother had new as a little girl and I played with too until she was lost at the babysitters in the 70's. I still have the jacket my great grandmother had made for her and am so eager to try it on her. Thank you again for bringing back the memories.
