Vintage Sterling Buddhas & Confucius Salt and Pepper Shakers

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a rare set of 1920s or 30s Sterling Silver Buddhas. I believe they may be representative of the Three Jewels of Buddhism- Gautama Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

The bottom is only marked Sterling 950. They sit on a tray which has a special spot for each of them and a design around the bottom edge. It did have a little round 2 sided disc on the top of the center pole but it promptly came off after I bought it. It needs to be resoldered on.

Each buddha is 2 1/8" tall and about 1 1/4 x 3/4". The holder is 3 3/4" in diameter. There is some corrosion on the tops of 2 heads, from the salt and pepper I am sure. The buddha with the belly has no corrosion. His tummy comes out to reveal a little box. I am not sure what goes in there. The holder also has some corrosion.

Frequently Asked Questions

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

How much is a custom mermaid?

It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!
