c 30s/40s Fuld Ouija Board with Box

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a William Fuld Ouija board (The mystifying Oracle), he is who patented it before it was sold to Parker Bros in 1966. It comes with the box but the box was in pretty bad shape. I have taped it together with packing tape but one end is completely missing. The board is 17 7/8' x 11 7/8" and is a paper litho on top of hardboard, not paper like they are made today.

It was invented in 1890 and was a parlor game until WWI when it was claimed to be able to communicate with the dead. From then on, it was often associated with being evil.

The board itself is in excellent condition, the planchette is missing it's center clear piece with the needle. The planchettes are easily replaced. With a complete planchette, I would sell this at $30 more than I am offering it now.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

How much is a custom mermaid?

It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!
