Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a library edition of The Hungarian Fairy Book. It is a pretty famous book by Nandor Pogany (1893-1936) and illustrated by his famous brother Willy (1882-1955) who studied in Paris, became famous in London and then went to Hollywood to use his talent in the movie industry.

There are stories like "Jack Popcorn" about an orphan and his life. The stories are mostly about overcoming adversity, but aren't really for young children. There are some scary witches, battles and the vocabulary is more for a 12 year old or so.

It has 287 pages and is 8 x 5.25 x 1.75". The cover is worn around the edges and the spine is loosening and wobbly. The pages are quite yellow and have oil stains on them, probably because it was a library book, there are some dog eared pages and a few that have tears.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!
