This is a sweet little book with a gray spine with silver embossing. Part of the cover has yellow and red flowers on a blue background. It is hardback. The book was written by Ludovic Halevy, author and playwright. (1802-1883)
I can't find this book, with this same cover but there are many of these books out there with numerous publishers. This on is published by HM Caldwell NY circa 1890. Many of these sellers are selling them as first editions as well - be careful out there, there is no way that there are this many first editions from different publishers.
This book is 6.5 x 4.5" and has 204 pages. The cover is worn some, the pages are yellowed but still soft. There is a little spine separation at page 16 & 17 but the pages feel secure. There is some pencil writing on the inside cover but no other writing. There is one illustration at the first of the book.

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
