This is one of 2 John Fox Jr. (1862-1919) I have. This 1908 one, "Trail of the Lonesome Pine" was rescued some time ago from the Free Public Library in Newark, N.J. Mr. Fox, being from Kentucky, often wrote about Kentucky and this book is one of those. It was also a best seller.
It is 7.5 x 5" and has 411 pages. Unfortunately, it has been marked up, but only on the inside front and back covers. The front has 2 pencil drawings of women and the library stamp and the back has some writing in pencil, the library stamp, a stamp "Jul 1937". The pages are really yellow but not brittle. And it has what looks like oil marks throughout. The spine is in good condition and the edges of the hard back, cloth covered cover is just worn around the edges with some stains on the front. Please look at pics carefully.

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
