So, this mug was made by Kirkham Pottery in England which was in business from 1946-1961. It was sold to Portmeirion Pottery. It has a drawing of the George Inn, Norton St. Phillip's in Somerset Co. which was a "great medieval Wool Inn with Mommouths rising, first built early fifteenth century" as it says on the bottom. This is a thick and sturdy mug, (perfect for soup!).
It is 3.5" tall and the top is 3.25" in diameter. It bows out in the center. It has crazing in the glaze but no knicks or cracks.
