Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a precious little book. It was published in 1889 and cost 25 cents. It is the "Latest and the Best Keim's Washington What to See, How to See it, a Sightseers Guide" It states on the front that it was "copiously illustrated with a large map of the city and surroundings..." It includes diagrams and engravings of public buildings. Glued to the back cover is a large map which I carefully unfolded just a bit to show in the pictures. It doesn't appear to ever having been opened. The book has a street car directory, horse hack prices and smaller maps inside. It gives all the facts of each building: the size, what it is made of, the architect, when it was built and all kinds of other information. Very interesting.

It has 72 pages, is 7.25 X 5", has a few dog ears but no rips or tears. Paper is in good shape but still soft, no brittleness. Made with good quality paper.

It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.

I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?

No.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do!
