This rare puzzle and box is just an awesome thing to have. Instead of being called a puzzle, it is called a "Dissected Map of the United States". It was put out by McLoughlin Bros of NY. One piece (South Dakota) is missing but the puzzle is in great shape. Appears to be made of some type of fiberboard. They do not bend. Pieces are fairly large. They don't fit together like modern puzzles, there is a little space in between each piece.
The box has a beautiful litho on the top of a goddess holding the world and surrounded by greenery, US flag bunting and a flag shield. The litho has some staining on it, the box as well and one corner has a hole.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.
How much is a custom mermaid?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.
I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
