I almost didn't take this apart as I thought it was a postcard! I am so glad I did because it was an actual painting! It took a while to find anything out about it but finally (!) I did. Rachid Bouskri, is a local trained artist in Todra Valley, Southern Morocco. A hotel there called El Khorbat is decorated with his paintings. It is a place for people seeking peace and rest away from the tourist centers. They have a library, Berber lounges and gardens. This painting is on cardstock and features the hotel with palm trees and cactus. It has some writing also which I assume is Arabic. It is 6.75 x 4.5" and the frame is gold and black and is 8.25 x 6.25. I believe the owner of it was in the middle east in the late 90s or early 2000's. She has not traveled for many years. It needs at mat, the painting is a little small for the frame. Actually a bigger frame with a mat would be better.

When will I receive my refund for a damaged product.
I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.
How much is a custom mermaid?
It depends on the size and the work involved. Custom mermaids start at $50.
I saw an item like this on EBay for less. Can you match the price?
No.
Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
