This piece is of course a mystery of who the young woman is. It is a beautiful portrait in a beautiful frame. I do know that on the back it has AE Schneider 509 Union St Seattle. Alfred E Schneider had an art gallery there. The frame is solid wood, 2" wide with a flower motif and gilding. It is 23.5 x 19.5". It is .75" thick. The glass is flat. The back has cardboard on the back of the artwork, set in place by 12 finishing nails. It had paper over that at one time as there is some glue and paper left on the edges of the frame. Has screw eyes and wire to hang.
