This is Pennsylvania German Schernschnitte (which means scissor cutting) from the late 1700's or early 1800's. It is done with very fine paper. This one features angels, horses and even dogs. It is in a beautiful frame of oak which is carved. The opening of the frame is 11.5 x 9.75". The frame is 18 5/8 x 16 3/4 x 2 1/4". The frame is in great condition, nails were used to hold back on and it has a wire hanger. The inside of the frame is gold and worn. It weighs about 6 lbs. Shipping is free in the US.
