This is such an awesome antique piece! It is a Colebrookdale Iron Co. iron made in Boyertown PA in the late 1800s. It has a detachable handle so that when you put it in the fire, you didn't have to heat up the handle, the bottom part of the handle is cast iron (like the iron) and the top is wood. You lift up on the wood button to remove it. I love that this is one of the reasons "having too many irons in the fire" came from. This thing is HEAVY at 4 lbs. It is 6.5" long and 5" tall. It has free shipping though in the US. which is about $20 to Chicago. It would look great in your sewing room, in your laundry room or even in your kitchen. Or if you enjoy living on the edge, throw it in the fire and iron with it!

No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
