This is an old newspaper flong- it is a paper mache mold into which typesetting metal was poured onto that made the image used in presses to print the newspaper. The date on it is Friday January 13th, 1933. The paper is the Visalia Times-Delta. Visalia is in the Central Valley of CA, between Fresno and Bakersfield.
It is 22 x 17.5" and on a cardboard mat that is 24 x 20".
It has information about freak weather at Sequoia Nat'l Park, ads for clothing (mens suits $15!) and more. Would make a great gift for someone born in 33, or from the area.

I will happily refund for anything damaged during shipping. However, I must receive pictures of the damage, the box and the wrapping. I will refund you as soon as I receive this in order to file a claim with USPS or Shipsurance.

Can you hold an item until I get paid?
No. I have done this before, taken the item out of inventory and then the person never bought. This causes me to have to pay to re-list the item and miss out on other potential sales. Please do not ask me to do this.
